Ask AI
For the Newsletter feature, I generated a template. Here are my issues with how it is:
  1. I generate a template (even used AI for it) to have relevant sections that I want to speak to every edition.
  2. It generated a template but from all practical viewpoints, it actually is a draft. When I try to create a new template, it basically becomes a draft for a new post.
  3. The title can't be used any more. This is awkward for a running newsletter with a title. Maybe an option to add a date or an edition number makes sense.
    1. This also helps maintain different flavors of newsletters for different targets.
In summary:
  1. Please change the naming of the 'Template' in its current form to 'Draft'.
  2. Please allow an ability to have templates (Templates provide structures and some fillers). New drafts get created with the relevant template, if at all.
  3. Improve the story on the titles/names so that there is a way to run a series and tag/suffix them with numbers/dates.
  4. (Good to have) - an ability to create permanent links that can then be added to the fund/firm's website to drive traffic from there.

Hi Varun, thanks for this feedback. I appreciate the specific suggestions on wording / UI copy.

Two suggestions I'll add:
1. For titles / series, you may just have to set the title of the newsletter to E.g. "LP Newsletter #1" for the names.
2. Know that when creating a newsletter, you can copy a previous one by selecting "copy [previous newsletter name]" from the list of templates.
