To initiate a Capital Call in Hub, you must have the Back Office section enabled for your account. All Decile Partners have the Back Office section enabled by default. You must also have finished at least your first close of investors before you can start a capital call within Hub. If you have questions about either of these things, please contact your Venture Associate.
To start a Capital Call in Hub:
1. Go to Back Office > Capital Accounts
2. Click on Capital Call in the top menu and then click on 'Start a Call'
3. Enter the amount or percentage that you'd like to call
4. Confirm the amount being called for every LP
5. Click 'Start Capital Call'
Once you initiate the Capital Call, all your investors will be added to a new Capital Call pipeline, where you can send customized emails to each investor and track their payment process.
