You typically should not re-send a newsletter. This is against industry standards for a reason!

Summary of points from Beehiiv, one of the largest newsletter tools:
- Negative Impact on Deliverability: Resending emails to non-openers can lower your overall open rates. Email providers like Gmail and Outlook monitor engagement metrics, and a drop in open rates can signal that your emails are less relevant, increasing the likelihood of future messages being marked as spam.
- Risk of Spam Complaints: Subscribers might not have opened the initial email due to various reasons, such as time zone differences or privacy settings that prevent tracking. Sending duplicate emails can annoy these users, leading to higher unsubscribe rates or spam complaints.
- Quality Over Quantity: Focusing on the quality of engagement rather than the quantity of opens is more beneficial in the long run. A smaller, more engaged audience is preferable to a larger, less responsive one.
In summary, while resending to non-openers might yield a few additional opens, it can damage your sender reputation and reduce the effectiveness of future campaigns. It's better to focus on creating compelling content and maintaining a healthy, engaged subscriber list.
