Need verified emails for data rooms
If they enter an email in the database they're good to go
If not in the database, then verify it via email first

I hear you on the fake email / name issue. One way to get this is to limit the data room just to people in a specific pipeline. The only downside is that they will have to make sure to use the email address you have on file for them.

Of course if you send the data room link via Hub, the link won't even make them log in at all and all views will be directly attributed to that prospect.
Yeah that makes sense. Another option could be a lightweight email verification step for anyone not already in the CRM.

Proposed flow:
• If the email exists in the database → immediate access
• If the email is not in the database → send a verification link first
• User clicks the link → email marked verified → access granted

That would eliminate most fake emails since someone would actually need inbox access to proceed.

A couple ways this could be implemented:
  1. Simple magic-link verification (enter email → click link → access)
  2. Disposable email filtering (block temp email domains)
  3. Optional email validation service (Kickbox / ZeroBounce) to check deliverability
The magic-link approach is probably the cleanest UX and stops almost all fake entries.

Curious if something like that would be feasible inside Hub.
