You're already getting less management fees in total compared to a traditional structure (10% vs 20%). So you are betting on yourself and have way more 'skin in the game' then competing GPs that they are seeing. This is a small fund. Even in your region, your income from fees will be relatively small. In other-words, you have setup the conditions to maximize the carry rather then the fees.
